Click Pro Elite Photographer, Yorkshire UK
A bit of an acceptance speech.
Earlier in the year I was thrilled to have been accepted into Click Pro Elite an ‘association of professional photographers pursing advanced artistic and business development while amplifying the voice of women worldwide’.
The process involved submitting 150 images which were rigorously judged in seven categories; exposure, use of light, colour and white balance, composition, processing and cohesion, technical basics, creativity and intention. I’d put off applying for a while - because who wants to get that rejection letter - right?
But I’d won second place in the Click Pro Voice competition 2023 for one of my images from York & District Indoor Bowls Club (chosen from over 40,000 entries). ‘Voice is a celebrated annual photography competition providing a unique platform for photographers to share real stories and has become one of the most powerful visual documentations by, of, and for photographers around the world.’
So, I was invited to enter, and off I went through the archives selecting 150 of my best!
